Flag Queues

Flag queues, also known as virtual status queues, display lists of Items that have been flagged with a particular flag. Items that are flagged still maintain their workflow status queue. For example, an Item can remain in the Awaiting Reserves Processing workflow queue while also being flagged with a status like "Supervisor Review." Flag queues display on the Ares home screen and have a flag icon next to the name of the flag.

Default Flag Queues

Several flags exist by default, and will be applied to Items at certain times.

Batch Upload Failed

If batch uploading fails for an Item, it will be flagged with this flag.

Item In Processing

When a staff user has an Item form open, the Item will be flagged
with this flag.

Loan Period Changed
by Instructor

If an Instructor changes the Loan Period of an Item on the Ares
web pages, it will be flagged with this flag. See Instructor Changes

Hard Copy Item
Cancelled by Instructor

If an Instructor deletes an Item on the Ares web pages, it will be
flagged with this flag. See Instructor Cancels Hard Copy Item.

Copyright Fees Increased
